Aiming to be a central resource hub for people with gender independent children in their lives, Gender Creative Kids needed a website that would allow extensive submissions from both service providers and individuals sharing resources.

With a complex set of taxonomies organizing content behind the scenes, we created a set of dynamically generated submission forms that are simple to use for site visitors but can collect a wealth of information. Site administrators are able to manage the site’s extensive uploaded data, without needing special technical know-how. We gave the website a colourful design inspired by the organization’s logo, with clear calls to action on the front page to engage visitors.

It boasts an interactive application driven by the Google Maps API that allows families with gender creative kids to search for local service providers, with an extensive set of filters that lets them hone in on exactly what they are looking for. And one of the most anticipated features is the creation of personalized profiles that enable families to connect locally, and even be contacted through secure web forms without sacrificing privacy.

Did we mention the entire site is bilingual? We installed separate versions of the site for each language,
with links between the two sites wherever a translation is available.
